Finbloom Argentina S.A., CUIT No. 30-71878625-4 (the “Company”), a virtual asset service provider (“VAS”) registered in the VAS Registry of the National Securities Commission under number 120, informs platform users of the following risks associated with the products offered there:
Definitions:
Virtual asset: A digital representation of value that can be traded and/or transferred digitally and used for payments or investments. Under no circumstances shall legal tender in national territory or currencies issued by other countries or jurisdictions (fiat currency) be understood as a virtual asset.
Risks:
a) Virtual Assets are highly volatile and may be high risk, so investors should exercise extreme caution regarding these products;
b) Virtual Assets are not contemplated in Law No. 26,831, except where they fall within the definition of negotiable securities, pursuant to Article 2 of Law No. 26,831, nor within the powers conferred on the National Securities Commission by Law No. 27,739. Therefore, the offering documents or product information provided by the issuer have not been reviewed or approved by the Commission or, where applicable, any regulatory body;
c) a Virtual Asset is not legal tender in the Argentine Republic; therefore, it is not issued or endorsed by the government or national authorities;
d) transactions with Virtual Assets may be irreversible, and consequently, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable;
e) the value of a Virtual Asset may be derived from the continued willingness of market participants to exchange fiat currency for a Virtual Asset, meaning that the value of a particular Virtual Asset may be completely and permanently lost if the market for that Asset disappears. There is no guarantee that a person who accepts a Virtual Asset as payment now will continue to do so in the future. Certain Virtual Assets may only be accepted at some AVSPs and not at others;
f) the extreme volatility and unpredictability of the price of a Virtual Asset relative to fiat currencies may result in a total loss of the investment within a short period of time;
g) legislative and regulatory changes may negatively affect the use, transfer, exchange, and/or value of Virtual Assets;
h) Virtual Asset transactions are considered executed only when they are recorded and confirmed by the trading platform, which does not necessarily coincide with the time the client initiates the transaction;
(i) the nature of the Virtual Assets exposes them to the risk of fraud or cyberattacks;
(j) the nature of the Virtual Assets means that any technological difficulties experienced by the PSAV may result in customers being unable to access their Virtual Assets;
(k) the loss or theft of private keys may result in the complete loss of access to the Virtual Assets without the possibility of recovery; and
(l) the networks on which the Virtual Assets depend may face disruptions or congestion due to technical problems, cyberattacks, or other factors.
